Second Consortium Meeting held in Trondheim

16./17.06.2026

Consortium meeting at SINTEF in Trondheim

On 16–17 June 2026, the CoolHeatDC consortium gathered for its second on-site project meeting at the SINTEF Energy Research premises in Trondheim, Norway.

The two-day meeting brought together project partners from Austria, Poland, and Norway, both on-site and online, to review project progress, align ongoing activities, and coordinate the next steps.

The first day focused on project management and strategic coordination. Key agenda points included a meeting of the project’s General Assembly, during which partners voted on potential new members of the Industrial Focus Group (IFG). Participants also had the opportunity to visit SINTEF’s heat pump research laboratories, gaining valuable insights into the facilities supporting the project’s technical work.

On the second day, partners presented progress and initial results from the technical work packages and defined upcoming priorities. Two interactive workshops further supported cross-partner alignment. The first workshop focused on harmonizing key performance indicators across the technical work packages, while the second explored suitable reference technologies for benchmarking CoolHeatDC solutions in the project’s different use cases at a later stage.

Beyond the formal sessions, the meeting also offered valuable opportunities for informal exchange, including a consortium dinner in Trondheim’s city center.

The meeting marked an important step in strengthening collaboration across the consortium and ensuring a shared direction for the next phase of the CoolHeatDC project.
